Chinese New Year in Beijing!
Street and temple festivals are currently happening in Beijing with some streets packed with people
other streets completely empty.
The festivals have pin wheels, toys for the children, candied fruit on sticks - there are sounds, sights and smells. Bustling streets and empty streets.
Chinese New Year is when people traditionally return back to their hometown. The festival runs for about 7 days.
Beijing families make Jiaozi's. Jiaozi's are like small dumplings. Some say they symbolise prosperity others say togetherness.
Currently fireworks are being let off with a loud explosive sound.
The streets are icy cold
